Seddon reports surge of interest in upmarket new homes at Marchcroft development at Sowerby Bridge following opening of chic new show home

Posted on October 8th, 2012

Seddon Homes has reported a surge of interest in its prestige development of 12 five bedroom detached homes at Sowerby Bridge, with sales already on the board and others pending.

It follows the opening of a beautifully furnished new show home, demonstrating to dazzling effect the extremely high spec of the upmarket natural stone-built properties.

The Marchcroft development, not far from Halifax, is set within a luxuriant wooded area and each property has a generous garden, with additional woodland area beyond.

Seddon Homes sales and marketing director, Denis Maddock, said: “We’re very excited about Marchcroft and absolutely delighted our elegant and stylish show home is so quickly achieving its goal of enticing local buyers and showing off the true potential of these first rate properties and locality.”

Interest was keen from the moment Marchcroft was announced and since the show home’s launch inquiries have increased dramatically.

Denis said: “It clearly demonstrates Marchcroft is an unrivalled option for growing families keen to move within the local area or new people relocating to West Yorksire. Here you can quickly escape hustle and bustle, and enjoy the comforts of an airy, modern luxury home, while also remaining within easy distance of the vast array of work and leisure amenities close by.”

The properties are designed and built with close attention to detail, their natural stone exterior and slate effect roofs are in keeping with the character of properties in the surrounding area.

But the traditional façade belies an array of up to date green energy saving features, including insulation throughout, eco glazing and thermostatically controlled heating.

Spacious layouts include an en-suite master bedroom with built in robes, family bathroom, German-built SieMatic kitchens, with Neff appliances, Jetstone hard work surfaces, a five burner gas hob, built in electric oven and micro-combination oven.

Denis said: “We know from experience that, despite the recent economic climate there is still ample demand for quality new homes in the right location. Marchcroft is just such a location. We chose it carefully and the feedback we are getting is extremely positive.”

Sowerby Bridge is a popular residential area, within easy travelling distance of the business and industrial hubs of Halifax and Leeds.

It has extensive public transport, rail and road links to surrounding towns and further afield, while its first class high schools are a prime attraction for families.

Prices start from £365,000. The show home is open for viewing from Thursdays to Mondays from 10am-5pm. For further details visit our Marchcroft page or call 0845 4569667.
