Help to Buy has helped 150,000 people to become homeowners

Recent figures show that the government backed Help to Buy scheme has now helped 150,000 people to become homeowners since its launch in 2013.

This initiative has proven to be a revelation, with 80% of those that have used the scheme being first-time buyers and on lower incomes, with the average price of a property purchased with Help to Buy costing lower that the national average at £188,380.

According to the Home Builders Federation, Help to Buy has also boosted the demand for new-build homes in particular, which is great news for Seddon!

  • You only need a 5% deposit and the government will lend you the value of 20% of your new Seddon home as an equity loan.

  • Available on all homes up to £600,000.
