Benefits: Salary dependent on experience, with house building experience a preference. 39 Hours PW Company Van provided.

Hours: Mon – Fri 08.00 – 16.30 (30 mins Lunch) 39 h/pw

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Care Operative to join our growing housing business in Birchwood, Warrington. You will be working on post completion property’s ensuring all defects are rectified within a professional and timely manner.

• The operative will investigate and complete the rectification of (in house) defects, ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with design standards, specifications and company procedures
• Work with members of the Customer Care Team, whilst liaising closely with the Maintenance Manager
• Uphold and communicate the values and culture of the Seddon brand
• Position Seddon as the contractor of choice
• Investigate and complete the rectification of work needed to conclude NHBC/LABC claims
• Maintain / complete accurate and concise records of repairs on Clixifix.
• To assist on various site where applicable
• Carry out inspections where required and record programme of works with the customer care coordinators.
• Update all works on Clixifix our defect management system


Key Responsibilities Include:

H&S and Procedural Compliance
• To ensure work is carried out in compliance with the company Safety Policy, Risk and Method Statements and all relevant legislation
• Ensure best practices are maintained throughout any works
• Maintain site diary
• Complete RAMS on the day of each property
Management and Reports
• Compile Health and safety records for each job task
• Manage material order requests to procure materials
• Workmanship escalations to be passed to the Maintenance Manager
Customer Focus
• Understand stakeholders’ expectations post-handover
• Customer escalations to be passed to Maintenance Manager
• Allocate/attend to defect repairs efficiently and within targets set by customer
• Manage communication through Customer Care Team

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of working in a customer related environment within a house building/construction industry. You should have a good knowledge of housebuilding and NHBC standards . You will be highly organised, and have excellent communication skills.
You will be proficient with IT (Microsoft packages and Clixifix.) a high attention to detail are skills you will possess, in addition to being self motivated, customer focussed, target driven, positive and a team player you are able to work on your own and use your own initiative.

A full driving licence is essential.
