Senior Land Buyer/Manager

Location: Warrington Office

Benefits: Salary dependent on experience, with house building experience a preference. Pension contributions are a minimum of 5.0% (employee) and 6.0% (employer). Seddon Homes will match contributions to a maximum of 7.5%. 4 times salary for death in service. Aviva health care. 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. Company car or allowance.

Hours: 08.00 – 16.30 Mon – Fri

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Land Buyer/Manger to join our growing speculative house building business in Birchwood, Warrington.  The principle purpose of the role will be the identification,  negotiation and planning promotion of land and development opportunities (short and long term)  for the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identification of development opportunities
  • Collation for information to assess viability
  • Market research and initial appraisal work
  • Preparation and progression of offers
  • Negotiation and working with key stakeholders
  • Planning Promotion
  • Working at times with other Seddon Group companies

 Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

 The successful candidate will already be an established land manager with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, ideally working for a house builder and have a good contact base in the North West of England. You shall possess communication, negotiation and research and data analysis skills as well as being proficient in IT and report writing. You will have good attention to details and be able to show tenacity and  perseverance. You will be ideally qualified in a relevant discipline, self motivated and a team player.
