Let Seddon make Help to Buy simple this weekend — 15-16 February

Posted on February 12th, 2014

Here at Seddon Homes we have seen how the government Help to Buy initiative has benefited so many buyers in 2013. However we also know that the scheme is laden with complex and technical information which, for many, can make taking that first step potentially daunting.

The simple fact is that this scheme provides real help for buyers who are struggling to get a foot on, or move up the property ladder. That’s why at Seddon Homes we want to make it simple for you and take the strain so you can relax and enjoy the low cost experience and joy of a brand new home.

This weekend we will be holding an event this weekend — 15th and 16th February at our Bridgefold Development in Rochdale and our sales advisor and independent financial advisor will be on hand to show you how easy it is to buy with Help to Buy.

Taking away the confusion

With over 6 months’ experience, and many happy homebuyers moved in, we understand Help to Buy from start to finish and know how to take the confusion out of it for you.

Our sales advisors take care of the application process, and our independent financial advisors handle the paperwork, leaving you to concentrate on the exciting prospect of which colour curtains to choose or where to put that new sofa.

What our customers say

The feedback from people who have bought a Seddon Home with Help to Buy really speaks for itself.

‘The sales advisor and independent financial advisor were brilliant. They took all the hassle away from us and explained things each step of the way.’ Said Samantha, 22 who has recently bought at another Seddon Homes development in Castleford.

Nancy and Jonny, buyers themselves at Bridgefold also speak highly of the scheme. They were impressed at how quick the process was — with the initial Help to Buy approval taking just a week. ‘The financial advisor did all of the paperwork for us — from the Help to Buy forms to the mortgage forms, and even sorted out our house and life insurance which meant the process went smoothly, and there were no hiccups along the way.’

The Help to Buy scheme allowed Nancy and Jonny to move from a 2 bedroom rented property with no garden to a 3 bedroom, brand new family home, whilst saving a staggering £100 a month in terms of rent alone. But the savings for this young family go beyond this due to the energy cost savings which put another £100 a month back in Nancy and Jonny’s pockets!

Take that first step

We have moved many people into new homes at our Bridgefold development thanks to Help to Buy. With a number of applications already in since the start of the year, the success of the scheme looks set to continue.

John, another of our young buyers at Silkstone can’t speak highly enough of the scheme. ‘Help to Buy was a real godsend for us for a number of reasons. Firstly it meant we only needed a 5% deposit which meant we could move sooner. In addition, the fact we only had to borrow 75% means we have a cushion of money to set ourselves up ion our new home over the next few years. We can afford to decorate and furnish it how we want without overstretching ourselves.’

So whether you are a first time buyer, or looking to move to a larger family home with more space, come and visit us this weekend, 15-16 February at Bridgefold and see how we can help YOU buy with Help to Buy.
