Local Cheshire house builder supports Merlin’s Micro Brewery Ltd

Building relationships in the local community is something that we, as an experienced and family run home builder, pride ourselves on. With the launch of our new homes development in Sandbach imminent, we have been building relationships with local businesses in the area that will continue to flourish into the future.

Seddon Homes promotes the ethos of supporting local businesses and relationships wherever possible.
Recently, our sales and marketing director, Denis Maddock, was invited to a small, family owned and brewer of real ale. Merlin’s Micro Brewery Ltd, located in Arclid agreed to partner with Seddon Homes with the exclusive Campion Point Ale to celebrate our Priority Preview Evening on 25th February in Sandbach.

Merlin Brewery Micro Ltd is a well-established provider of distinctive beer to the local community, offering a magical experience to those that love an award winning pint!

During Denis’ visit to the brewery, he had the opportunity to meet the very proud owners Sue and David Peart, who were more than happy to take Denis on a tour of the premises.

Denis was delighted to try in the day to day tasks in the brewery including mixing the locally sourced barley and hops, which are key ingredients in making a selection of beers that really are out of this world.

Merlin’s Micro Brewery Ltd is a self-sufficient business in the heart of Arclid in Sandbach. Using hydrogen powered wind turbines and solar panels to create electricity this, in turn, powers their vitally important brewing machines. Sue and David also pride themselves on their zero waste approach to brewing, as all of their excess beer and liquid is then drained into reed beds and digested, producing clean water that can be reused in the production process time and time again-thereby saving themselves not only money, but ensuring the brewery is as environmentally friendly as possible to protect the local landscape.
After an informative chat, it was straight to the bar for a taste of Seddon’s very own specially commissioned Campion Point Ale produced by Merlin’s Micro Brewery Ltd themselves. This locally sourced and produced ale is sure to get the taste buds tingling with its light and elegant aroma, perfect for any palate.
