New home buyers are spoilt for choice in Chapel-en-le-Frith!

The past few months haven’t been the warmest in Chapel-en-le-Frith, but that hasn’t stopped our build team from powering through! Our new homes site in Derbyshire, “Rosebay” is starting to take shape, and before you know it we’ll be inviting you to come and look around our fantastic show home!

If you’ve already decided that you want your new home to be in Chapel-en-le-Frith, you may already know about the local area, but for those of you who are still browsing, let us fill you in on what’s nearby.

Firstly, “Rosebay” is located on Long Lane, which provides easy access to everything Chapel-en-le-Frith has to offer including the local shops, pubs and restaurants. According to Trip Advisor, the New Inn and The Kings Arms Hotel are the best pubs, which are both located less than 10 minutes’ walk from “Rosebay” – perfect!

If you’re into dining out, we heartily recommend Vechia Italia. It’s a traditional Italian restaurant which first opened in 1989. What’s more, if you’re in a rush, they do take away, result. Vechia Italia is located 0.5 miles from Long Lane, so you can easily walk there or it is just a short drive.

For a great way to burn off the food and drink on offer in Chapel-en-le-Frith, why not take up walking or cycling? Located in the stunning Peak District, the local area is full of walks and trails which have views that will simply take your breath away.

Just a 5 minute drive from “Rosebay” is Chestnut Centre Otter, Owl and Wildlife park. Describing itself as a “hidden gem in a hidden valley”, and we can’t argue. The park is home to several species of otters and owls as well as foxes, rare Scottish wildcats and many more animals and is well worth a visit.

Within Chapel-en-le-Frith itself, there is a Primary and Secondary school which are both well respected in the area – Chapel-en-le-Frith High School is actually located on Long Lane.

If you still need convincing about just how well located “Rosebay” is for all of your needs, there are also plenty of job opportunities available. Ferodo, a brake-lining manufacturer, is a major employer in the area brings a lot of trade to Chapel-en-le-Frith.

Buxton is also just 20 minutes away and is home to even more employment opportunities including the Buxton Mineral Water Company, which is owned by Nestle. The Buxton Advertiser newspaper is also a major employer here!

Maybe you already have a job and are just looking to move house? If so, no problem! Chapel-en-le-Frith is perfect for commuters with easy access to the A6 for Buxton and Stockport, which in turn leads on to major motorway links.
