Local school ratings

If your children are reading this tell them to look away now — the school holidays are almost over. Whether it’s their first day at primary school or their last year of A-levels, it’s important to know about how the schools in your area are performing!

We’re going to take a look at each of our developments and see the school nearby in those areas and what Ofsted had to say about them.

Sandbach (Campion Point)

Campion Point in Sandbach is within the catchment area of 5 different schools, one of which Ofsted have rated outstanding; the others were rated good. Located closest to Campion Point is Offley Primary School which is recommended by 84% of parents!

Alsager (Limeacre)

In close proximity to our Limeacre development in Alsager are 3 schools; 2 primary and 1 secondary. Alsager Secondary School has been given an outstanding rating by Ofsted whilst their GCSE results have been categorised 9/10!

Runcorn (Mosaic)

Surrounding Mosaic in Runcorn is an abundance of schools with varied rankings from Ofsted. Castleview Primary School was given an outstanding Ofsted ranking whilst 5 other schools in the area with rated good.

Congleton (The Covey)

Daven Primary School is handily located on Canal Road, Congleton which is very close to The Covey in Congleton. Daven Primary has been rated good by Ofsted. Goldfinch Close falls into the catchment area for Congleton High School which is rated good by Ofsted.

Rochdale (Bridgefold)

7 of the 9 schools which surround Bridgefold have been rated by Ofsted as good whilst Rochdale Sixth Form College has been awarded Outstanding. Rochdale Sixth Form College is a mere 5 minute drive from Bridgefold.

Mossley (Shire Croft)

98% of parents would recommend the Ofsted rated outstanding Mossley Hollins High School! Before your children are old enough to go to high school though, Mossley has a choice of good rated primary schools.

Coppull (Brookfield)

If you’re looking to buy a new home in Coppull, there are 3 good rated primary schools to choose from. For the nearest high school, your child will have to head to Chorley to attend the good rated Southlands High School.

Salterforth (Southbeck)

Salterforth is home to Salterforth Primary, a small primary school of approximately 90 pupils. However, what it lacks in size it more than makes up for with its good Ofsted ranking and 79% of parents recommending it. West Craven High School is also located on Kelbrook Road, not too far from Southbeck.

Belmont (Waterside)

If 100% of parents recommend it, it must be good — and that’s how Ofsted have ranked Turton Belmont Community Primary School in Belmont. Turton High School is the closest high school to our Waterside development and is a 12 minute drive away.

Tittensor (Hammond Rise)

Tittensor C of E First School has been eagerly recommended by 80% of parents who are pleased with the good rating given to the school by Ofsted. Trentham High School is in close proximity to our Hammond Rise development has also been strongly recommended by 83% of parents.

Stone (Meadowside)

Stone has plenty of schools to choose from, closest to Meadowside being Christ Church C of E First School and St Dominic’s Catholic Primary School, both of which have been rated good by Ofsted. Alleyne’s Academy is the closest high school to Meadowside and is recommended by 92% of parents.

Castleford (Silkstone)

The closest schools to Silkstone are located in the Airedale area and are all rated good by Ofsted.
