Seddon Homes Marchcroft development wins LABC Building Excellence Award

Posted on July 3rd, 2013

Seddon Homes fought off stiff competition to win a prestigious award at the West Yorkshire Building Excellence Awards held recently at Headingly Stadium. The Marchcroft Development came top in the category ‘Best New Dwellings 2-15 units’.

Run by the Local Building Authority, the awards recognise the importance of building control in creating high quality developments by co-operative working between councils, developers, designers and builders. The awards showcase buildings and design teams that have had to tussle with technical issues, difficult sites as well as innovative and creative solutions.

Denis Maddock, sales and marketing director for Seddon Homes commented ‘With only eleven awards available and thousands of applications, Seddon feel privileged to have won in the West Yorkshire region with this development.

“We are proud of all of our developments, but Marchcroft stands out as it combines an attractive stone built exterior with a high-end interior specification, set in a highly regarded residential area of immense character and charm.

“The development has been hugely popular – over half the homes have been sold and there is significant interest in the remaining properties. We have various schemes to help interested buyers including part exchange, the Help to Buy Government initiative as well as NewBuy.”

Prices start from £319,960 through the Help to Buy initiative and our impressive show home is open for viewing Thursday to Monday 10am-5pm. For further details visit our Marchcroft page or call 0845 456 9620 or follow us on Twitter @sed_marchcroft
