Seddon Homes proud to Sponsor the Josh Furber Testimonial Match

Seddon Homes is very proud to be sponsoring The Josh Furber Testimonial match on Sunday 8th September.
Josh Furber, 20, of Beechwood, died on January 6, after falling while on a walk in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney.

Family and friends of Josh will be playing in a Testimonial match this Sunday at Halton Lodge Junior School, Grangeway, Runcorn. The friendly will kick off at 2pm, and will see Josh’s team mates play against members of Josh’s family.

Seddon Homes sales and marketing director, Denis Maddock, said: “As sponsors of BPR Leiria, we are delighted to support this testimonial match. It is a fantastic example of how football pulls communities together and it will be fun day for all involved.”

Julie Cole, secretary for the team said: “We are really pleased to have organised this testimonial match. Josh was much loved and respected in the local community, and used to play for our club BPR Leiria. It is great that our club sponsor Seddon Homes are getting involved for what we hope will be a very special game.”
