Some friendly advice before you fall for our amazing Ackworth!

Posted on May 3rd, 2019

Before you take a look at our awesome Ackworth, we’d like to offer you a few words of caution… Because once you’ve seen our Ackworth on Plot 34 at Belvedere, you’ll fall completely in love. Set on a massive plot with a large private garden backing onto a stream, this is a location to die for.

Secondly, you’ll have visitors every weekend. With five delightful double bedrooms and two en suites, you’ll become a regular holiday home from home for friends and relatives.

And finally, once you’ve lived in an Ackworth, no other home will ever match up and you’ll forever be the King and Queen of the castle! Because the Ackworth is the last word in style, spaciousness and drop-dead good looks. And we’re building just 4 of them on our beautiful new development, Belvedere near Keighley.

However large your family or your circle of friends, there’s always room at the Ackworth – some 2377 sq. foot of it! Even the hallway is huge!

At the front of the property, there’s a sizeable study and a generous dining room – both with feature bay windows. The good-sized lounge is the perfect room for relaxing, with French doors opening onto the rear garden.

And then there’s the kitchen, which is almost three rooms in one. Comprising a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a large family area, with views over the garden, this is a spectacular living space. The kitchen area incorporates a contemporary breakfast bar and an exceptional package of fixtures and fittings.

The rigid built floor and wall units have soft slide doors and drawers and under pelmet LED lights. And the integrated 5 ring gas hob, double oven, curved glass island cooker hood and 50/50 fridge freezer are included as standard. Usefully, there’s an adjoining utility room and a downstairs WC.

Upstairs, the 5 double bedrooms lead off the spacious landing area, with the majestic master bedroom at the rear. This is a bedroom for lovers of luxury, with a decadent adjoining dressing room.

The boutique-style en suite has a fully tiled shower cubicle and a top of the range waterfall shower. Bedroom 2 also has a stylish en suite and there’s a well-designed family bathroom. Fitted with Ideal Standard sanitaryware, it has half height tiling above the bath and a heated towel rail.

Now you’ve fallen for the Ackworth, you’ll be equally besotted with the idyllic location of Belvedere. Built on the site of Malsis Hall, a grand Victorian residence, it is accessed via a tree-lined driveway past the original Malsis gate lodge. Each of the freehold homes has an external stone finish, in keeping with the picturesque surroundings.

Nearby Cross Hills has shops and primary schools. The larger shops and schools of Keighley and Skipton are an easy 15-minute drive. Keighley railway station has frequent services to Bradford and Leeds. Leeds Bradford airport is just 20 miles away.

The properties in the first phase of Belvedere are now available to order off plan. If you’d like to find out more about the Ackworth and the buying methods we have available, contact Seddon Homes’ Property Shop on 01925 839504.
