Spotlight on the Bowland at Belvedere
Posted on July 25th, 2019Sit tight and wait for the drum roll. Because this week, we’re shining the spotlight on one of our most magical homes -the beautiful Bowland! Thrill to the clever conjuring trick our designers have pulled from their drawing board. From the outside, the Bowland is an attractive, three bedroom house. But open the front door and something extraordinary happens … because this is no average semi detached home!
Our nickname for the Bowland is ‘the Tardis’, because everybody who looks around the contemporary layout and bright, welcoming rooms comments on the feeling of size and spaciousness. And it’s extraordinarily good value – at just £234,995.
The large, light-filled lounge at the front of the property provides a taster of things to come. The extra-large window creates a sunny, relaxed living room and there’s also a useful understairs store cupboard.
There’s even more space in the kitchen/dining area, which has French doors leading to the enclosed, turfed rear garden. What a stunning, well designed room this is – with a versatile adjoining utility area. There’s plenty of space for a dining table and room for relaxing with family or friends. Fling open the French doors on sunny days and balmy evenings and bring the outdoors inside!
Whichever member of the family is cooking or washing up, you’ll love the Bowland kitchen! The high quality rigid built wall and floor units have soft close doors and drawers. Hard wearing laminate worktops and under pelmet LED lighting are fitted as standard and the kitchen area has ceramic floor tiling. Integrated appliances include a 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, stainless steel chimney cooker hood and 50/50 fridge freezer. Best of all, every one of these ‘extras’ is included in the price!
The handy WC completes the downstairs accommodation.
Upstairs, the large master bedroom with views to the front of the property, is a charming retreat for the grown-ups! Bright and spacious, it incorporates a luxurious en suite with rainfall shower. There are two further bedrooms: a generous double and a single. The family bathroom has stylish white sanitaryware from the Ideal Standard Tempo range and half height tiling around the bath.
If you love the Bowland on Plot 19 – we know you’ll adore Belvedere! Set in the idyllic landscape surrounding Malsis Hall – a grand 19th century mansion – this is an enchanting location. And residents can enjoy the country estate lifestyle, with exclusive access to secret paths, waterfalls and shallow streams.
The approach to Belvedere, along a tree-lined driveway, takes you past the original Malsis gate lodge. From here, you’ll catch a glimpse of the Belvedere tower, which gives the development its’ name. The beautiful Malsis state rooms and chapel can be hired out for special occasions. And the grand pavilion and nearby football pitches are also available for bookings.
Home at Belvedere
Belvedere offers the best of all worlds: a picturesque rural location coupled with the convenience of local amenities. The pretty nearby villages of Cross Hills and Glusburn have shops, primary schools, country pubs and a busy calendar of social events. The larger schools and shops of Keighley and Skipton are a 15 minute drive away. There are frequent rail services to Bradford and Leeds from Keighley railway station.
