Stay snug with Seddon Homes this Autumn
Posted on October 14th, 2016Guest blog from Denis Maddock, Sales and Marketing Director for Seddon Homes.
With the last rays of summer sun, a distant memory and autumn firmly upon us, many will be thinking about last winter and the discomfort of draughty windows, poor insulation and clunky old boilers that seem to eat gas for fun! Of course new home insulation standards have improved drastically over the years and it’s quite amazing what a difference this can make!
The undersupply of new homes nationally continues to create a strong post Brexit market which we have been taking advantage of with the openings of a number of key new developments across the North West and beyond with many more to follow in 2017.
Recent high profile show home openings in Stone, Belmont, Salterforth and Congleton show case the diverse range of home locations and styles on offer. These provide homes to suit all tastes and pockets with the emphasis very much on space and design.
The Government Help to Buy scheme runs until 2020 and is available on all Seddon homes being open to both first-time buyers and home movers — but is restricted to new-build homes. This provides lower deposit and mortgage rates. Any member of the sales team will provide further advice on this at your local development.
Times do of course change and so do the needs of modern home buyers. Gone are the featureless boxes of old, replaced by sleek and stylish living environments designed to meet the needs of modern life. Many kitchens are now extended to include family areas with French doors leading to the garden. Fittings tend to be more high end with the emphasis on style and durability. Quartz worktops, under mounted sinks and sophisticated stainless steel appliances grace many of the middle to high end kitchens.
Anyone who has not seen a show home for a few years will be in for a treat. No better example of this can be seen than at Waterside, Egerton Road, Belmont, Bolton. Words don’t really get close to describing the impact of the show home, but “breath taking” has been used frequently by those that have visited since the recent opening. Why not judge for yourself and drop in Thurs — Mon, grab a coffee and prepare to be blown away!
