Posted on August 20th, 2011Tigers players Nick Fozzard and Richard Mathers pitched in to launch the draw to win a VIP match package when they officially opened the show home at Silkstone, the Seddon Homes development at Castleford.
The new signings for 2011 unveiled the stylishly furnished show home at the development first phase of 37 two, three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached homes at Fryston.
The winner of the free draw will receive four VIP tickets for the match against Hull on Saturday 3 September. He or she will receive a framed shirt signed by the first team, presented at half time during the game, which is also being sponsored by Seddon Homes.
The package also includes a wine reception, three course meal, premier seats at the game, pre-match summary with star players and Tigers commentator Mick Morgan, plus a post-match interview with head coach Terry Matterson.
Entries to the prize draw can be made by visiting the Silkstone show home during its launch weekends: 10am to 5pm on Saturday August 20 to Tuesday 23 August or Thursday 25 August to Monday 29 August. The draw will close at 4pm on Monday 29 August and the winner notified on Tuesday 30 August.
Seddon Homes sales and marketing director, Denis Maddock, said: “As a company we always try to build positive links with the communities in which we have developments and sponsoring the much loved Tigers is an ideal way of doing this in Castleford.”
Silkstone is located in a rural location in Fryston, close to Fairburn Ings nature reserve. It is close to good road links and within easy reach of Castleford, Pontefract and Leeds. A family-owned firm that traditionally has developed properties to the west of the Pennines, Seddon has recently started developments in Yorkshire. Silkstone is its fourth in the region. Seddon already has operating bases at Normanton and York.
The selection of a mix of property specifications by Seddon for Silkstone offers first time buyers a means of getting onto the property ladder without having to uproot from the region. It is also ideal for local people with growing families seeking to upgrade to more spacious homes.
To help people struggling to get mortgages in the current difficult climate, Seddon has launched “Springboard”, a scheme enabling selected buyers to own the full 100 per cent of their home, while only paying 85 per cent of the market price.
Of the remainder, 15 per cent is financed by an interest free 10-year loan from Seddon and by a reduced five per cent contract deposit.
Denis added: “Springboard is one way we as a developer can genuinely help buyers to acquire a high spec affordable home without having to consider leaving the Castleford area.
“For many people, this is still a difficult economic climate, which is why we have strived to ensure these homes represent terrific value for money.”
Visitors to the show home will be able to see for themselves how roomy the properties are. They have thermostatically controlled gas central heating, and full insulation to minimise heating costs, helping to keep household bills low.
Kitchens include quality wall cabinets and work surfaces, a stainless steel oven, four burner gas hob and integrated extractor hood.
Stylish white family bathrooms include chrome fittings, while en suite facilties in master bedrooms feature glazed shower cubicles. Some bedrooms also include fitted sliding mirror wardrobes.
Outside there is a garden tap, turfed front garden and seeded rear garden. Prices start from £168,750. For details call 01977 512825 or visit the development page here.
