Seddon Homes offers bumper discounts to NHS workers

NHS workers can get bumper discounts from Seddon Homes if they buy a new property at the company’s Bridgefold development of two, three and four bedroom properties close to the heart of Rochdale.

The discounts are designed to help key NHS staff working locally and who are struggling to get onto the property ladder.

For every full £25,000 they spend on a new Seddon home at Bridgefold, they will receive a £500 discount, up to a total value of £3,500.

Seddon Homes sales and marketing director, Denis Maddock, said: “We recognise the financial constraints experienced by growing families or couples trying to start out on their own for the first time.

“Getting onto or moving up the property ladder can be an expensive process, and it is our company’s ethos to do all we can to help ease that process for our clients.

“Under this innovative scheme, we are targeting key health workers, as our research has shown many are struggling to find properties in this area. We hope this incentive will encourage them to stay in Rochdale rather than move to jobs out of the area in order to find quality, affordable properties.”

The initiative is one of a number introduced by Seddon to help new homes buyers at a time when purse-strings are tight.

First time buyers purchasing at Bridgefold can also benefit from Home Buy, a government equity loan scheme to give people a much needed leg up onto the property ladder. It means they will only need a minimum deposit and up to 20 per cent is loaned from the government and Seddon Homes over 25 years.

In addition, Seddon is offering its innovative Springboard scheme, which gives buyers a chance to own their entire new home while only paying 85 per cent of the purchase price up front.

Enticing part-exchange and Sale Away deals to help those keen to buy a new Seddon home but struggling to sell their existing property, are also available.
