Living the dream at Belvedere – share the magic with us

Posted on June 21st, 2019

We’ve written blogs and produced a full-colour brochure for our beautiful Belvedere development near Keighley. But we’d be the first to admit that words and pictures don’t do justice to the sensational, semi-rural location, in the grounds of a Grade 2 listed mansion.

This outstanding, tree-lined development really has to be seen to be believed. And so, for proceedable buyers only, we are offering the chance to take a guided tour around this magical development, strictly by appointment only.

Set in the idyllic landscape surrounding Malsis Hall – a grand 19th-century residence – Belvedere is a development with the wow factor. The charms of this country estate have been retained for the enjoyment of 21st-century residents, with secret walkways, waterfalls and shallow streams with rustic bridges to explore.

And the captivating journey begins as you approach Belvedere, along a tree-lined driveway past the original Malsis gate lodge.

From here, you’ll catch a glimpse of the original Belvedere tower, which is being refurbished as part of the development. The beautiful Malsis staterooms and chapel have been refurbished and can be hired out for special occasions. And the grand pavilion and nearby football pitches are also available for bookings.

Belvedere offers the tranquillity of rural living coupled with the convenience of local amenities. The pretty nearby villages of Cross Hills and Glusburn have shops, primary schools, country pubs and a busy calendar of social events.

The larger schools and shops of Keighley and Skipton are a 15-minute drive away. There are frequent rail services to Bradford and Leeds from Keighley railway station.

Seddon Homes are building nine different house types at Belvedere, with a choice of 2, 3, 4 or 5 bedrooms. And all the freehold properties are eligible for the government-backed Help to Buy scheme. This popular scheme enables buyers to secure their new home with a deposit of just 5%. The government then lends a further 20%, so you only need a 75% mortgage. Seddon Homes’ Sales Advisors can discuss other available buying methods with you too.

We’d like to offer you a taste of life on a 19th-century country estate (with all the benefits of a 21st-century lifestyle!). Contact us for more details on 01925 839504.
