Located near to Southport city centre, the 18th-century gardens have beautiful displays of flowers, trees and water features to enjoy. Pretty walking and cycling spots

As well as the iconic pier, Southport has an abundance of trails and parks to explore, whatever the weather. Hesketh Park and the Sefton Coastal Path in particular have some lovely sights to see.

Another must-see is the Rotten Row, which despite its name, is actually rather picturesque. This nearly mile-long floral border runs around Victoria Park and offers cyclists and ramblers alike a lovely example of volunteer-led horticulture.

Great transport links

Southport is well-connected to the cities of Liverpool and Manchester via the A565, which leads onto various other useful routes. You also benefit from living close to Southport train station, which connects you to Liverpool and other Northern Lines for an easy commute.

Local amenities

Hawtree Grove is located in the village of Banks, which has its own church, post office, leisure centre, and local pub. As well as all your daily needs being catered to, the development is also conveniently close to Tarleton High School (rated ‘good’ by Ofsted) and 2 primary schools; Banks St Stephen’s CofE School and Banks Methodist School, which was rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.
