Seddon Homes – proud to be sponsors of Astbury May Day 2018

At Seddon Homes, we love to support the local community and are proud to announce that we are one of the two primary sponsors of this year’s Astbury May Day!

Taking place on Saturday 19th May from 11.30pm until 6pm at Glebe Farm in Congleton, the event coincides with two more major events on the same day!

But all is not lost as our contribution to the event covers the cost of large TV screens, so all visitors can also watch the Royal Wedding and FA Cup Final to-boot.

The ever popular Astbury May Day will draw visitors from the local area and beyond, who will be wowed by the parade of local children from Astbury St Mary’s School and see the new May Queen crowned – not to mention see traditional Maypole dancing.

Glebe Farm will also present plenty of fun family activities with stalls, fairground rides, pony rides, tractors, a bouncy castle, raffle, tombola, crafts and traditional games such as hook a duck, plate smashing and a coconut shy. There will also be a barbecue, well stocked refreshment marquee and mobile bar! A great day out for all ages.

It’s also a fun day for furry friends, as there will be a novelty dog show taking place for any pups wanting to put their best paw forward!
