Thinking of buying a new home in Chapel-en-le-Frith? Hear what our recent home buyers have to say

Posted on January 25th, 2018

Meet Martin and Cathy! They bought a Seddon home at Rosebay last year and have never looked back. They love it so much they want to share a bit about the development, surrounding area and experience with you!

Martin and Cathy purchased a Carron at Rosebay and fell in love with the area and the excellent finishing touches in their new home. They were particularly impressed with the light, airy and spacious rooms as well as the large garden. “We looked at other show houses to get some ideas but the Seddon properties stood out, the size of the rooms which were light and airy and even the brickwork outside, you can tell it’s good quality and taken care of”.

They also commented on the high specification kitchen appliances which were included as standard. At Rosebay each kitchen is modern and stylish incorporating a range of floor and wall cabinets in a selection of styles and colours (subject to build stage). Zanussi stainless steel ovens and 4 burner SS gas hobs are included in every home & there is an optional upgrade to include a dishwasher if you wish!

Martin and Cathy were also pleasantly surprised that their driveway could fit two cars, as well as having extra space in the garage. Before every move in, new buyers are shown how to use the lighting and heating in their new home. A thorough inspection will also take place, if there are any little niggles you are not happy with just let us know and we will get them sorted as soon as we can.

Rosebay is located in the quaint, rural town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire. With history spanning from 1225 this is an area of real beauty. The cobbled market square has a range of restaurant, cafes, pubs and even a local farmers’ market every Thursday. Other home buyers have fallen in love with the town, its community feel & the friendly faces they meet. “The village is brilliant, and the people in the village are absolutely fantastic” said Martin.

Chapel-en-le-Frith has its own railway station, which operates an hourly service to Manchester Piccadilly. If you love to jet away on holiday you’re in luck as Manchester Airport is just 20 miles away by car!
