For destinations afar, both Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon airport are approximately 50 miles away – with Leeds Bradford airport not being much further away. But if you want something a little closer, or a ‘staycation’, Preston’s railway station – a hub for many destinations including Liverpool, Leeds, Glasgow Central and London Euston – is just 8 miles away from Caraway Green. Shorter train commutes include to Manchester (17 minutes) and Blackpool (34 minutes).
