Your Customer Journey with Seddon Homes

Posted on August 12th, 2016

Buying a new home can be one of the most stressful things you will go through – it’s serious stuff! When you set out on your house buying voyage, your head will be swimming with questions you want to ask, and you’ll also forget to ask a fair bit as well.

At Seddon Homes, we want you to make informed decisions when purchasing your new home, allowing you to have the easiest possible move. We’ve outlined in our Customer Journey document exactly what to expect from us every step of the way!

  • Choosing your new home

So there it is, the house of your dreams — you’re already picking the carpets and curtains and in your head you’ve moved in already! However, just to make sure it’s right for you, we will provide you with all of the relevant information needed including putting you in touch with an Independent Mortgage Advisor.

  • Choice and Options

Our sales advisor will explain to you the available finishing touches to your chosen new home and you can unleash your creative side to personalise and add your own tastes!

  • Meet the Builder

We will introduce you to the build team to allow any questions you may have to be answered by the professionals.

  • Keeping you Informed

We will provide you with an estimated time for completion and keep you up to date with any development information along the way. You will always be kept in the loop regarding your moving in date allowing you to plan the house warming.

  • Access During Construction

We understand that this is pretty major, so where possible and if you require, we will allow you onto the site to review where your home is up to, once the plastering is complete and banisters are installed. This has to be arranged with the Sales Advisors prior to your arrival, and access may not always be possible.

  • Home Demonstration

At this point, you’re probably going to be bursting with excitement as you’re almost ready to load up the van and get moving. The home demonstration includes things like where your stop tap is and allows you to ask any final questions.

  • Handover to Customer

OH-EM-GEE! Your solicitors only gone and put legal completion in motion and released the money, meaning your arrival is imminent! Our Sales Advisor will contact you regarding a “key release” upon which you will come down to the site and we will formally hand over the keys.

  • Post-Handover

Welcome to your new home! You will be contacted by our Customer Care team who will introduce themselves in the first few days and then, 7 days after completion, a member of the build team will pop around to check all is well.

If you want to get started on your Customer Journey with Seddon Homes and are interested in our new homes, pop down to your local development today where one of our trained Sales Advisors will be on hand to answer all of your questions.
