Introducing the new Seddon Homes Help2Move Scheme

Many of us have been in a situation where we have fallen in love with a new home without yet having a buyer for our current property, and usually, that would mean missing out on the plot, well not anymore. Here at Seddon Homes, we have officially introduced a brand new Help2Move Scheme for several developments that will allow potential buyers to reserve the plot for their dream home even if they don’t yet have a buyer for their current property.

How does the Help2Move Scheme work?

Once you’ve chosen your plot you will need to put down a fully refundable fee of £150. This will reserve the plot and as part of the scheme, we will send your name, address, phone number and email address across to House to Home. House to home will contact you directly to arrange a valuation for your current property as well as contact a local estate agent to do the same. Once they have an accurate valuation for your property they will call you to ensure that you are happy with this. We will then hold the plot for up to 6 weeks. If your home is not sold within the first 4 weeks, the price of the property will be reduced and we will reserve the plot for further 2 weeks.

If your property sells and you decide to move forward with the reservation of the plot for your new home, providing you meet certain criteria, we will pay some or all of the estate agent fees. You will then need to pay the remainder of the reservation fee.

However, we understand that selling your property is not always straightforward. Therefore if you decide against the scheme once you have received a valuation of your property from the estate agent, or if it does not sell, you will receive the £150 fee back in full.

Which developments are the scheme available for?

The Help2Move Scheme is currently in place for two of our stunning developments, Belle Wood View and Orchard Manor. Both of these developments have been incredibly popular and it’s easy to see why. They are situated in idyllic locations and have a wide range of property types to choose from.

Belle Wood View
